Respect the Respected

Nowadays, I see all those newly recuited NSF, I just cant stop shaking my head. Abit abit complain, very self centered and in a world of their own. They simply dont bother about anyone.

Gones, are the days where I remember I was still a trainee. We suffer together, we had fun together. When one was punished, all were punished. Noone will be left behind. Now when things goes wrongs, all the fingers started pointing around. And worse still, they actually can question back and think what they did is right.

From the look of their attitude, and charactor, I fear for the future of Singapore. They are only brave behind close doors, behind their computers, as complaining and whinning is what they do best.

I am still at least a 2SGT, at least give me some courtesy respect. I guess they dont even bother that I exist. And worse for those higher ranking officers. Some are not worth respecting, they dont even had pride in their work. Compare to the US Army, our officers are mostly out of shape, and only can talk and write. Where the lead by example?

I simply hate people who say one thing and does another, dont expect me to give you the respect you "craved" as ya shall remember, I wasn't born to please anyone. You cant even uphold yourself, how do you want me to give you that respect.

But nevermind, here a good news I heard today. On May 10th, the regulars of the army will get a bonous, sort of a one time pay increament. So most likely I will get a one month extra pay on that month. Now maybe I can get that PS3 and a new HP... erm.... or take that MCSE exam...
