Relive the glory day 2

Looking all the photos, only remind me of two things.

What past will never be the same again.
Those who stood by your side wont last forever.

Being a regular(sign on) in the army, I feel like I am the immortal being, never age never die. And the NSF are like humans, slowly one by one dies off.(ORD in this sense) But at least each and everyone of them do leave something behind in my memory.

So let contiune my journey back in 7SIB...

Not long after we return back from Indo in January, we already recieve news that we will be going to Taiwan in April. There like no break in between, esp for me and my guys. We got to prepare stores and such before we actually fly off to Taiwan. We had to prepare the equipment one month in advance before we touch down in Taiwan, as the equipment will be send over by ships. Thus the early preparation.

EX. Highnoon was the 2nd memorable one in my life in 7SIB, as afterall it was an oversea exercise. This is when I just got appointed the Platoon Sergeant, I totally new into this, and also this oversea training build the foundation of the bonding between my men, my spec and a ever lasting friendship in years to come.

When we touch down, we dont have even time to rest, we are been told we will had to move off the next day. We just reach our camp at only in the afternoon, and we had not even unpack our stuff from the container yet.

So basically we got to work our ass thru the night, the above picture is my container, where we test and place our stores. And this is actually the start of my nightmare. 4 days that I never really sleep.

As you see, our home computers are not design to go thru combat environment. Esp in a sandy place like this, my server crashed on the 2nd night, best of all my backup server could not even boot up. When the training cut, the rest got to had a good night rest, where I had to rush down to my "mother" unit and loan equipment, plus installing and configuring. One week of preparation, I got to finish it in one night. And when it done, I carry my "baby" and head to the training area.

Before we move off, we got to put camo :

I could not sleep cos, this server and the only server I had was not in a "good condition" and times and times, it almost fail me. Like a dying fish, trying to stay afloat. 4 Days of not sleeping when we move from places to places, lucky I got my guys to kept me moving.

The only other thing that keep me fresh and awake was the Ninja Van, they sell the "Tian Bu la" and the fried Chicken Cutlet, was the only thing that substain me for 4 days. It was heaven. Seen in the first picture, where we hid some place and start eating.

And when you got nothing to do, you play with guns and lol climb a roof. RnR was the best, esp I get to roam around on our own. We actually take a ferry to an island call Qi Jin I think. The wind was cool, the beach was nice.

And I know, the only other entertainment there was the UFO machine.. haha I am actually quite good at this. Below is my reward, I actually catch 3 of the Piyo Piyo, but two was given away. I got caught smaller Masimaro, but my buddy want it more then I do.
